Books By Star Blackwoods
A shelf that holds the dreams of many, Journeys encased in a tiny bottle. You can go to an island, a jungle or palace, Be a pirate, a princess, or explorer.
Pages stack up into castles and walls Words form trees that dance in the wind. Illustrations come to life, froliking and playing You spin around, taking it in.
You can run across fields made of paper and twine Pick all the flowers scattered within Dust swirls around you, words tumble like rain Running to the edge of the ocean, like the turn of a page
There swims a paper boat With a mast that’s made out of string Word dolphins and fish swim around with glee With the joyful call of the sea.
The last stop is a palace, tall and stone With turrets and flags waving You climb up the wall like a hero And save the people inside.
It’s time to close your adventure As you turn to the final page There lie the words that conclude every moment The great and famous The End.

As the joy you receive through maps,
your life will be protected by them sooner,
by later you learn to live,
with the art of maps hidden behind them.
Charmander By Brendin Daniels
I somehow knew my Charmander was much different, I knew our friendship would be permanent. I will make sure the fire on his tail will keep a flow, because without him I will never grow.
We will strive through battles hopefully with every win, if we happen not to I know we tried our hardest within. Charmander will be my friend til the very end, I am certain he will forever be my friend.
